The film team (Jozef Tancer, interviewer, Viera Bačíková, cinematographer, Peter Toman, sound master and Anna Grusková, director) travelled through most important places in Slovakia, where the Carpathian minority used to live since 12th century, and made recordings and footages with the aim to preserve and present unique traces of once industrial and agricultural leading nationality on the today´s Slovakia territory.

Inšpiráciou bolo mimoriadne úspešné, umelecky mimoriadne zaujímavé amsterdamské múzeum Dom Anny Frankovej, s ktorým sme nadviazali spoluprácu. Po niekoľkých neúspešných pokusoch získať priestory v Bratislave sme sa rozhodli vytvoriť najskôr virtuálnu expozíciu, ktorá bude spájať históriu, vizuálne umenie, literatúru a film. Europa Plan by Gisi Fleischmann is designed to present and embrace not only an extraordinary fate of a rare, brave woman (1892-1944), but also her devotion and responsibility to the European vision of helping hand for persecuted and haunted people. The beautiful human idea of Europa Plan originated in Slovakia. It could not be realized 75 years ago, but we could help it to succeed now.
